So what if I told you that the powers of financial capitalism (bankers etc.), had a far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands, able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. [Ed. Note: He is not talking about freemarket Capitalism here - free trade between consenting individuals in a system where individual rights are respected - this is an older system, the “Ancien Regime”, in which the state and the economic sector are one and the same.
